BIO
We all share the instinct to preserve what is familiar about our surroundings, relationships and emotions
but how we record the inevitable imprint of change is a question which drives the objects I build.
Stories of life in Colombia were shrouded in both joy and saddened nostalgia as my mother routinely
recounted her experiences of life in the homeland. These stories were instrumental in creating an inner
vision of the culture and landscape I knew I was related to, but it was the contrast of growing up in
Australia, which fashioned a lingering preoccupation with the relationship between our physical objects
and our memories.

ARTIST'S STATEMENT
Presently living in New York, I continue to explore themes of dismantling, restoration and preservation.
As you view the included works, I invite you to consider the value of your collective objects and the
singular pieces, which hold your sentiments or encourage a personal narrative.

I welcome the opportunity to tell your stories by archiving the moments in the re-purposing of your
personal pieces.
